Fire Rated Smoke Exhaust and Stair Pressurization Ductwork

For the new, state-of-the-art Florida Marlins Ballpark in Miami, Firespray International’s Flamebar BW11 galvanized steel ductwork was a value-engineered solution that provided significant cost saving, gained the design team much-needed space and eased both the scheduling and management tasks associated with installation.

Fast-track installation of over 100,000 square feet of Flamebar BW11 fire-rated smoke exhaust and stair pressurization ductwork systems was completed on schedule at the Major League Ballpark. Specifications initially called for steel ductwork with 2 layers of ceramic firewrap insulation rated for two-hour fire protection. By eliminating the need for fire wrap, Firespray’s ductwork systems reduced site time and total cost.
