Penetration seals between fire compartments
Fire stopping compartments can be provided as part of our installation service, if specified.
The diagrams below show two typical fire rated ductwork stoppings, as tested to ISO 6944 (1985).

A fire resistant penetration seal must be installed at every fire compartment wall or floor. These seals are not included unless stated. The penetration firestop system must be constructed either from mineral wool or fire mortar as UL system no:
